Artist, Dean Hudgins, crafts lighting, pottery, tiles and various creations out of ceramic, glass, wood and metal. Influenced by the arts and crafts movement of the early 1900s, He is inspired by the works of such artisans as Grueby, Teco, Frederick Rhead, Fulper, Roycroft and Van Erp.

In his studio, he creates designs with a focus on capturing the essence of that movement, while using his own personal interpretation to experiment with a variety of glazes, forms and motifs.

Remaining a studio potter much in the line of George Ohr and William Walley every piece is a unique, individual hand-crafted work of art.

We’ve created our own little arts and crafts movement here in Seattle in our 1917 Craftsman bungalow. We use our main floor as a gallery space and the basement as our studio/workshop.
